Berry Cobbler

Because it wouldn't be summer without a fresh berry dessert and ice cream on top!


Ingredients


3 cups assorted berries (blackberries, raspberries and strawberries)

2 tablespoons all purpose flour

3 tablespoons sugar

1 lemon, fully juiced, lemon zest of half

1 cup flour

1/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 stick of cold unsalted butter, cubed (4-5 tablespoons)

pinch of kosher salt

top with vanilla ice cream


Directions


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F


In a bowl, add your berries. Mix until combined the sugar and flour, lemon juice and zest. Set aside.


For the topping, gently massage the flour, sugar, brown sugar, a pinch of salt and cold cubed butter. Mixture should be a crumbly cohesive topping.


In a buttered baking dish, add the berry mixture and sprinkle the crumb topping on top.


Bake for about 50 - 60 minutes or until berries are juicy and crumble is golden brown.


Serve warm with your favorite ice cream
